Continued Threats to Our Constitutional Republic

Although the 112th Congress will be seated next month, we, as a nation, are still in peril from within. We made strides this past November to clean the “people’s house” and Senate but we still have a long way to go in our efforts to save our Constitutional Republic. There are still Socialists and Progressives within the Federal Government, all three branches and the bureaucrats who serve them, who are evil-conspiring men and women seeking to transform our Divinely inspired Constitutional Republic into a Welfare Socialist State. These same persons decry American exceptionalism and sovereignty in favor of the “one world government” philosophy of George Sorus and his ilk.

They do NOT believe in the unalienable rights of man to Life, Liberty, and Property as an endowment by our Creator. They believe that government is the grantor and controller. They believe in the redistribution of wealth and the enslavement of We the People with them as the masters. They seek to accomplish this through social-justice programs that create an entitlement mentality which as Jefferson predicted, wastes “the labors of the people under the pretense of caring for them.” These politicians, and their fellow-travelers, perpetuate rhetoric and propaganda designed to create class and ethnic warfare to divide us; rather than, civil discourse which would unite us as Americans.

We, as Americans, have always welcomed to our shores those who sought for freedom from (more…)

An open letter to Senators Corker and Alexander

By Wayne Leeper – December 22, 2010

Tennessee is a great state which has sent some outstanding statesmen to Washington. Unfortunately, the two of you are not among them. You have proven yourself to have the spine of a jelly fish, the mouth of an alligator, and the brain of a mocking bird. However, mistakes can be rectified and in 2012 and 2014 “We the People” will rectify our mistakes. The winners of the Republican primaries will go on to become our next Senators in the general elections; elections which the two of you will watch from the sidelines.

As I write this your master, Barack Obama, is on TV crowing about his’ successes in the 111th lame duck congress; successes which the two of you made possible. In the lame duck session of the 111th Congress you offered yourselves to the highest bidder. What did you receive in return for selling out your constituents, your (more…)

“After America , There is No Place to Go”

What I am about to tell you is something you’ve probably never heard or will ever read in history books.

I believe that I am an eyewitness to history. I cannot tell you that Hitler took Austria by tanks and guns; it would distort history. We elected him by a landslide – 98% of the vote.. I’ve never read that in any American publications. Everyone thinks that Hitler just rolled in with his tanks and took Austria by force.

In 1938, Austria was in deep Depression. Nearly one-third of our workforce was unemployed. We had 25% inflation and 25% bank loan interest rates. Farmers and business people were declaring bankruptcy daily. Young people were going from house to house begging for food. Not that they didn’t want to work; there simply (more…)

Merry Christmas and God Bless Us Every One !

I have hanging on the office wall here at the Freedom-Fighters Forum a lithograph entitled “The Prince of Peace.” If you are unfamiliar with it, it depicts the Savior of the World, the height of the building, standing in mid-air, knocking on the United Nations building in New York. [Rev 3:20] Wouldn’t it be nice if they would let Him in not only to the building but to their hearts so that there might be “on earth peace, good will toward men” this Christmas season and always.

At this time of year it would be well if each of us remembers that the first gift of Christmas was a child. The Prophet Isaiah, 700 years prior to his birth said concerning this gift, “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.” [Isaiah 9:6]

The Apostle John, in his Gospel, told us why this gift was given when he recorded the Savior telling Nicodemus, “For God so loved the world, He gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.” [John 3:16,17]

So love came down at Christmas, heralded by angels, witnessed by shepherds and visited by Wise Men [Luke 2; Matt 2]. But still 2000 years later the message of the angels seems like an impossible dream. Much of the time we, as Christians, mimic the words of Longfellow’s civil war Christmas carol “I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day.”

And in despair I bowed my head;
“There is no peace on earth,” I said;
“For hate is strong,
And mocks the song
Of peace on earth, good-will to men!”

But his carol does not end there. Today, as we are a nation at war, let us not forget the message of hope that follows the message of despair. In these trying times of internal and external strife let us go on, hear and have faith in the words:

Then pealed the bells more loud and deep:
“God is not dead; nor doth he sleep!
The Wrong shall fail,
The Right prevail,
With peace on earth, good-will to men!

Lastly, I would hope this Christmas season that we, as Christians, would be looking and praying for the Second Advent. When the Lord God Omnipotent will reign. When the kingdoms of this world will become the kingdom of our Lord and He shall reign forever and ever, as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Hallelujah!

Merry Christmas to you and yours, and as tiny Tim said,
“God bless us every one !”

May God Bless and Save the United States of America !

Wise Men Still Seek Him !

In America today there is a debate going on as to whether we are a Christian nation or not. During the period of 1774 through 1787, two groups of “wise men” came together and through the aid of the Divine Providence they built a government, a Republic, destined to be the hope of the world. A nation that became a beacon of freedom to all who desired to live free or die.

The First Continental Congress met in 1774 to address the Colonies’ grievances with the English Crown and Parliament. The Second Continental Congress met after the battles of Lexington and Concord and issued the Declaration of Independence, July 4, 1776, ending all efforts of reconciliation with England. This document was signed by 56 “wise men.” Because of the ineffectualness of the Articles of Confederation, another convention was called in 1787 to revise the Articles. This convention, which began in May at Philadelphia, ended with the signing by 55 “wise men” of a proposed new Constitution on September 17, 1787. With New Hampshire’s affirmative vote for ratification June 21, 1788, the United States became a Constitutional Republic. The remaining four States ratified by May 29, 1790 with Rhode Island being the last. Our Bill of Rights, the first 10 Amendments, were ratified December 15, 1791.

When we speak of the core group of men known as the Founding Fathers, our “wise men,” we are usually referring to (more…)

A DAY THAT WILL LIVE IN INFAMY

Sixty nine years ago today, the Japanese Navy launched a surprise attack on the U.S. military installations on Hawaii. Called “…a day that will live in infamy…” by FDR, the attacks focused on the Naval base at Pearl Harbor and killed more than 2400 Americans.

At the very moment of the attack, Japanese diplomats in Washington were declaring their peaceful intention in the war torn Pacific. The duplicity of the moment has not been lost in history. President Roosevelt was right when he said Japan “deliberately sought to deceive the United States by false statements and expressions of hope for continued peace.”

He continued, saying “long will we remember the character of the onslaught against us.” And he promised, “I assert that we will not only defend ourselves to the uttermost but will see to it that this form of treachery shall never endanger us again.”

In a long bitter battle the United States did prevail…and now we must do so again.

March 21, 2010 is also. “A day that will live in infamy.” That was the day our Congress (more…)

When Will Democrats Return to Their Roots?

Thomas Jefferson, 3rd President of the United States [1801-1808], the first great leader of the Democratic Party, stated:

“That nation governs best which governs least.”

“I have sworn on the altar of God eternal hostility against every form of tyranny over the mind of man.”

“To preserve our independence, we must not let our rulers load us with perpetual debt. We must take our choice between economy and liberty, or profusion and servitude. If we run into such debts, we must be taxed in our meat and drink, in our necessities and in our comforts, in our labors and in our amusements.”

“If we can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under pretense of caring for them, they will be happy. The same prudence which in private life would forbid our paying our money for unexplained projects, forbids it in the disposition of public money. We are endeavoring to reduce the government to the practice of rigid economy to avoid burdening the people and arming the magistrate with a patronage of money which might be used to corrupt the principles of our government.”

Woodrow Wilson, 28th President of the United States [1913-1920], the leader of the Democratic Party who abandoned the Jeffersonian Philosophy for the Progressive Movement, stated:

“The history of liberty is the history of limitations of governmental power, not the increases of it. When we resist the concentration of power, we are resisting the powers of death because concentration of power is what always precedes the destruction of human liberties.”

To his everlasting shame, he did not follow his own counsel. Prior to the Wilson Administration, (more…)

Will You Give This to my Daddy?

Wednesday, December 8th, 2010

As a Company, Southwest Airlines is going to support ‘Red Fridays.’

Last week I was in Atlanta , Georgia attending a conference. While I was in the airport, returning home, I heard several people behind me beginning to clap and cheer. I immediately turned around and witnessed One of the greatest acts of patriotism I have ever seen.

Moving thru the terminal was a group of soldiers in their camos. As they began heading to their gate, everyone (well almost everyone) was abruptly to their feet with their hands waving and cheering.

When I saw the soldiers, probably 30-40 of them, being applauded and Cheered for, it hit me. I’m not alone. I’m not the only red-blooded American who still loves this country and supports our troops and their families.

Of course I immediately stopped and began clapping for these young unsung heroes who are putting their lives on the line everyday for us so we can go to school, work and home without fear or reprisal.

Just when I thought I could not be more proud of my country or of our Service men and women, a young girl, not more than 6 or 7 years old ran up to one of the male soldiers. He kneeled down and said ‘hi…’

The little girl then asked him if he would give something to her daddy for her… (more…)

CIA Interrogation

Really quite unbelievable!

As President George W. Bush’s top speech writer, Marc Thiessen was provided unique access to the CIA program used in interrogating top Al Qaeda terrorists, including the mastermind of the 9/11 attack, Khalid Sheikh Mohammad (KSM).

Now, his riveting new book, Courting Disaster”, How the CIA Kept America Safe (Regnery ), has been published.

Here is an excerpt from “Courting Disaster”:

Just before dawn on March 1, 2003, two dozen heavily armed Pakistani tactical assault forces move in and surround a safe house in Rawalpindi . A few hours earlier they had received a text message from an informant inside the house. It read: “I am with KSM.”

Bursting in, they find the disheveled mastermind of the 9/11 attacks, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, in his bedroom. He is taken into custody. In the safe house, they find a treasure trove of computers, documents, cell phones and other valuable “pocket litter.”

Once in custody, KSM is defiant. He refuses to (more…)
