Hmmmmmm….. such truth here…..

So true!!!!

SHORT & 2 THE POINT!!!!

I’m always impressed when the absolute truth shows up in short form:

The problems we face today are there because the people who work for a living are outnumbered by those who vote for a living.

Semper Fi!! — BEST EMAIL OF THE DAY

Tuesday, June 14th, 2011

As I came out of the supermarket that sunny day, pushing my cart of groceries towards my car, I saw an old man with the hood of his car up and a lady sitting inside the car, with the door open. The old man was looking at the engine. I put my groceries away in my car, and continued to watch the old gentleman from about twenty five feet away.

I saw a young man in his early twenties with a grocery bag in his arm walking towards the old man. The old gentleman saw him coming too, and took a few steps towards him.

I saw the old gentleman point to his open hood and say something. The young man put his grocery bag into what looked like a brand new Cadillac Escalade. He then turned back to the old man. I heard him yell at the old gentleman saying: “You shouldn’t even be allowed to drive a car at your age.” And then with a wave of his hand, (more…)

It is the Soldier …

Father Dennis Edward O’Brien
Sergeant, USMC

It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us the freedom of the press.

It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech.

It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who gives us the freedom to demonstrate.

It is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves beneath the flag, and whose coffin is draped by the flag, who allows the protestor to burn the flag.

All Good Things

by Sister Helen P. Mrosla

He was in the first third grade class I taught at Saint Mary’s School in Morris, Minn. All 34 of my students were dear to me, but Mark Eklund was one in a million. Very neat in appearance, but had that happy-to-be-alive attitude that made even his occasional mischievousness delightful.

Mark talked incessantly. I had to remind him again and again that talking without permission was not acceptable. What impressed me so much, though, was his sincere response every time I had to correct him for misbehaving – “Thank you for correcting me, Sister!” I didn’t know what to make of it at first, but before long I became accustomed to hearing it many times a day.

One morning my patience was growing thin when Mark talked once too often, and then I made a novice-teacher’s mistake. I looked at Mark and said, (more…)

“I’m 63 and I’m Tired”

Robert A. Hall is the actor who plays the coroner on CSI if you watch that show.
He also is a Marine Vietnam War veteran. He is a Marine Vietnam veteran who served five terms in the Massachusetts State Senate.

This should be required reading for every man, woman and child in the United States of America.

“I’m 63 and I’m Tired”
By Robert A. Hall

I’m 63. Except for one semester in college when jobs were scarce and a six-month period when I was between jobs, but job-hunting every day, I’ve worked hard since I was 18. Despite some health challenges, I still put in 50-hour weeks, and haven’t called in sick in seven or eight years. I make a good salary, but I didn’t inherit my job or my income, and I worked to get where I am. Given the economy, there’s no retirement in sight, and I’m tired. Very tired.

I’m tired of being told that I have to “spread the wealth” (more…)

What Has America Become?

Wednesday, January 26th, 2011

By Ken Huber | July 2010

Has America become the land of the special interest and home of the double standard?

Let’s see: If we lie to the Congress it’s a felony and if the Congress lies to us it’s just politics. If we dislike a black person, we’re racist and if a black person dislikes whites it’s his First Amendment right. The government spends millions to rehabilitate criminals and does almost nothing for the victims. In public schools you can teach that homosexuality is OK but (more…)

“Winston, come into the dining room, it’s time to eat,” Julia yelled to her husband. “In a minute, honey, it’s a tie score,” he answered. Actually Winston wasn’t very interested in the traditional holiday football game between Detroit and Washington ..

Ever since the government passed the Civility in Sports Statute of 2017, (more…)

Violence Is NOT the Answer

Wednesday, January 12th, 2011

William J. Dell
Amore Dei, Familiae, Patriae ducit !

The incident in Arizona this past Saturday was tragic! Our heartfelt condolences go out to all who lost loved ones at the hands of a “madman.” Our Constitutional Republic is the worse for what happen to Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords, U. S. District Judge John Roll, and others including the 9 year old girl, Christina Green.

What is more tragic however is the rush to judgement by irresponsible public officials and “journalists” as they endeavored to “spin” the incident to their advantage without any knowledge of the facts. The time for “finger-pointing,” concerning such incidents, should always be after the facts are established.

Now that we are three days after and the facts are beginning to surface. It is becoming clear that Jared Loughner was NOT politically motivated by either the “left” or the “right.” It is becoming clear that this was NOT a “terrorist” incident. It is becoming clear, very clear, that this was nothing more than the actions of a deranged individual.

In the wake of these senseless killings and the calls for “reasoned voices” to be squelched, you may be assured that Freedom-Fighters Forum will continue its effort to warn and educate its readers concerning the threats that exist to our Constitutional Republic. The Forum continues to see these three major threats to our Constitutional Republic and to securing “the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity:”

  1. Those who support the Welfare Socialist State making government the ruler rather than the servant of We the People.
  2. Those who support the one world government movement, of George Sorus and his ilk, with their oligarchy as the ruler rather than We the People.
  3. Those who support a worldwide Theocracy of Islam under Sharia Law with a Caliph as ruler rather than We the People.

Let ALL our readers understand that the Freedom-Fighters Forum does NOT advocate violence in our effort to restore our Federal Government to Constitutional limits thereby saving our Constitutional Republic. It is our position that within our Constitutional Republic, that the PEN is still mightier than the SWORD!

May God Bless and Save the United States of America !

Is the Constitution of the United States a Sacred Text?

Wednesday, January 12th, 2011

On 5 January, the 112th Congress was sworn in and John Boehner became Speaker of the House. On 6 January, the Speaker scheduled the reading of the “revised” Constitution [our 1787 Constitution, as amended], in its entirety, on the floor of the House with the Members participating in the reading. This writer believes that perhaps it should be read monthly. I believe it would be 90 minutes well spent and perhaps keep our elected Representatives on track as they go about We the People’s business.

Those on the left denigrated this move for various reasons. Some Members, on the left, even boycotted the reading. One Member’s, Jerrold Nadler (D-NY) the previous Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, denigration was a criticism that “They are reading it like a sacred text…” Mr. Nadler, many Americans do regard our Constitution as a “sacred text.” I am pleased to be considered one of these “true” Americans.

I do not think that anyone would disagree that the Constitution is (more…)

Food for Thought

Wednesday, January 12th, 2011

I can’t agree with all of this rant and some of the facts are skewed. In particular, just one question… remind me how we’re not getting along with Canada? The following does however provide “Food for Thought” and discussion in the public forum.

WOULDN’T IT BE GREAT TO TURN ON THE TV AND HEARD ANY U.S. PRESIDENT, DEMOCRAT OR REPUBLICAN, GIVING THE FOLLOWING SPEECH:

‘My Fellow Americans: As you all know, the defeat of the Iraq regime has been completed. Since Congress does not want to spend any more money on this war, our mission in Iraq is complete. This morning I gave the order for a complete removal of all American forces from Iraq. This action will be complete within 30 days. It is now time to begin the reckoning.

Before me, I have two lists. One list contains the names of countries which have stood by our side during the Iraq conflict. This list (more…)
