Pam’s Story

He is being mocked and ridiculed but he keeps bending that knee!!!

In a recent email, I read about a woman named Pam, who knows the pain of considering abortion. More than 24 years ago, she and her husband Bob were serving as missionaries to the Philippines and praying for a fifth child. Pam contracted amoebic dysentery, an infection of the intestine caused by a parasite found in contaminated food or drink. She went into a coma and was treated with strong antibiotics before they discovered she was pregnant.

I am a veteran of the Viet Nam War. In John 15:11 we read, “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friend.” It is hard for me to understand why the Westboro Baptist Church does what it does. A fallen warrior who guarantees their right to free speech certainly deserves better from them and from all Americans.

Every person, particularly a fallen warrior, deserves the dignity of a peaceful funeral at their passing. Whatever happen to the wisdom of Lincoln? “With malice toward none; with charity for all; with firmness in the right, as God gives us to see the right, let us strive on to finish the work we are in; to bind up the nation’s wounds; to care for him who shall have borne the battle, and for his widow; and his orphan – to do all which may achieve and cherish a just and lasting peace, among ourselves and with all nations.”

The Truth is Constant

The following old fellow wasn’t too far off the mark. N[athaniel] Grigsby died April 16, 1890 at age 78 years, 6 months, 5 days [born October 11, 1811]. He served as a 2nd Lieutenant, Company G, 10th Indiana Cavalry during the Civil War [12/31/1863 - 10/28/1864]. He was buried in Attica Cemetery, Attica, Harper County, Kansas.

He had the following inscription placed on his headstone:

Through this inscription I wish to enter my dying protest against what is called the Democratic party. I have watched it closely since the days of Jackson and know that all the misfortunes of our nation has come to it through this so called party therefore beware of this party of treason.

…and this guy died over a hundred years ago!!!

America’s Greatest Threat

At the end of last year, I wrote an article entitled: Continued Threats to Our Constitutional Republic. In that article I concluded:

Our elected leaders take an oath to protect and defend our Constitutional Republic against all enemies foreign and domestic. It is time for them, the 112th Congress and the President, to be Statesmen, not politically correct politicians, and protect us from ALL our enemies — the Socialist, the Progressives and the Islamic Jihadists (Muslim extremists) who are seeking to destroy our Constitutional Republic from within and without. Those who:

  1. Like George Sorus and his ilk, favor “one world government” with their oligarchy as the rulers.
  2. Prefer a Welfare Socialist State rather than our Divinely inspired Constitutional Republic with government as the ruler rather than We the People.
  3. Favor a worldwide Theocracy of Islam under Sharia Law with a caliph as ruler.

If any of these enemies of our Constitutional Republic is allowed to be successful, they will extinguish the “light of freedom” not only for ourselves and our posterity but for the entire world!

As great as these threats are, after careful thought and consideration, I have come to the conclusion that there is an even greater threat to our Constitutional Republic. An internal threat that makes dwarfs of these “political” threats. (more…)

Let’s see: If we lie to the Congress it’s a felony and if the Congress lies to us it’s just politics. If we dislike a black person, we’re racist and if a black person dislikes whites it’s his First Amendment right. What I am about to tell you is something you’ve probably never heard or will ever read in history books.

I believe that I am an eyewitness to history. I cannot tell you that Hitler took Austria by tanks and guns; it would distort history. We elected him by a landslide – 98% of the vote.. I’ve never read that in any American publications. Everyone thinks that Hitler just rolled in with his tanks and took Austria by force.

In 1938, Austria was in deep Depression. Nearly one-third of our workforce was unemployed. We had 25% inflation and 25% bank loan interest rates. Farmers and business people were declaring bankruptcy daily. Young people were going from house to house begging for food. Not that they didn’t want to work; there simply (more…)

In the Gospel of the Redman, the Seatons record the Twelve Commandments of the Redman. The first is stated as follows:

There is but one Great Spirit. He is eternal, omniscient, omnipotent, invisible. He pervades all things at all times. Reverence Him, and respect all worship of Him by others, for none have all the truth, and all who reverently worship have claims on our respect. Tolerance and the Rise of Radical Islam

Islam may be a religion, but Radical Islam, as practiced by the Jihadists who support Shari’a Law, is NOT a religion. It is a political movement. A political movement bent on world domination just as Hitler and the Third Reich was. It appears that most of this generation of the “Western World” seem to be as asleep concerning the rise of Radical Islam, as our ancestors of the “greatest generation” were concerning Hitler and the rise of the Third Reich.

Did our ancestors not know the intentions of the Third Reich? Did they not hear the words of Hitler broadcast all over the world? Did they not read his intentions in Mein Kaumf published in every corner of the world? Do we of the present generation not hear the words of the Jihadists broadcast around the world? Do we of the present generation not read of their intentions in the Qur’an, the print media and on the Internet?

The following quote is generally attributed to Voltaire: “I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it.” I believe the Founding Fathers had this in mind when they penned the First Amendment of the U. S. Constitution which states: “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”

It has been my understanding since taught in early youth that with every freedom also comes a responsibility. We were always taught that we may have the right to say what we want, but that we did not have the right to cry “Fire!” in a crowded theater in the absence of that fire.
