He doesn’t seem to have much respect for the military. Maybe in the future our leaders should be veterans.

Bad press, including major mockery of the plan by comedian Jon Stewart, led to President Obama abandoning his proposal to require veterans carry private health insurance to cover the estimated $540 billion annual cost to the federal government of treatment for injuries to military personnel received during their tours on active duty. The President admitted that he was puzzled by the magnitude of the opposition to his proposal.

I’ve asked this question to a number of people and most them respond as if I were crazy for asking. They tell me that this is America , land of the free and that there will always be elections. I tell them that we are no longer the land of the free and that if Obama gets re-elected in 2012, that this just may be America ‘s last election.

In the past three years, the Obama administration has been very carefully crafting the nation for a political take over by his Marxist regime and this isn’t just my opinion.

Popular radio talk show host Michael Savage is the son of Russian immigrants and is very familiar with Soviet and European history. Savage warned his listeners this week saying, “I have to tell you that if this man, God forbid, is the next president of the United States, we’re going to be living in something along the lines of – people say Europe. I don’t believe it’s going to be like Europe – I think it will be closer to Chavez’s South American dictatorship.

Your conduct during the Michigan Primary was despicable. If you cannot win the nomination on your own merits within the Republican camp, you have no right to enter the enemies camp to achieve your goal. As a Republican you are only free to court Democratic votes during the General election.

We the People are arguably facing the most important election this November 2012 that we have ever faced in the history of our Constitutional Republic. Perhaps you would consider asking your candidate(s) the following as you evaluate whom you should vote for.

Should you be elected this November to the Congress or the Presidency, you will be required to take an oath to “support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic.” Over the past 100 years, the greatest “domestic enemy” to our Constitutional Republic has been the federal government itself. “To prove this, let Facts be submitted to a candid” nation:

President Obama in his State of the Union address, his daily press briefings and even an editorial in the Sun-News continues to attack American society and claim it is unfair and therefore it is necessary to impose constraints on individual freedoms in order to implement his concept of fairness.

Who defines “fairness”? The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines fairness as marked by impartiality and honesty: free from self-interest, prejudice, or favoritism. www.vocabulary.com defines fairness treating people without prejudice – non-discrimination. www.thefreedictionary.com defines fairness as: Having or exhibiting a disposition that is free of favoritism or bias; impartial: a fair mediator, b. Just to all parties; equitable: a compromise that is fair to both factions.

Where is the “fair mediator” that ensures this fairness? Who is deciding that it is fair to take stuff from one who earns it and give it someone who hasn’t? The dictionary definitions above would label that favoritism not fairness. George Orwell would appreciate the “doublespeak”.

This is the scariest election we as Christians have ever faced, and from the looks of the polls, the Christians aren’t voting Christian values. We all need to be on our knees.

Do you believe we can take God at His word? Call upon His name, then stand back and watch His wonders unfold. This scripture gives us, as Christians, ownership of this land and the ability to call upon God to heal it. I challenge you to do that. We have never been more desperate than now for God to heal our land. This election is the scariest I remember in my lifetime.

This article is an open letter to the Republican Presidential candidates
Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich, Rick Santorum and Ron Paul

Gentlemen:

It is past time for ALL of you to begin to behave like Statesmen rather than politicians. Can’t we at least have civility within the Republican Party. Character does matter to the rank and file voter. So what does it say to We the People, the voters, about your character when you, in an effort to win the nomination, tear at the character of your fellow candidates? Are we all not sinners? Did not the Lord teach, “He who is without sin let him first cast a stone?” It would be well for each of you to remember that when you sling “mud” you get it on yourself also.

It is time for each of you and for the Party to remember Ronald Reagan’s Eleventh Commandment uttered in 1966, (more…)
