V1 N4 A PUBLICATION OF THE TWENTY FIRST CENTURY COUNCIL
Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.

THE 21ST CENTURY COUNCIL is receiving each month many new members and subscribers.

Many of these new members are asking for additional information about the principles upon which the Council’s work is based. For such reasons, the Board of Trustees has instructed that this issue of The Broadside begin an introductory statement of those principles. We hope that you will accept and appreciate this statement of our position on these issues.

Question:

Can a person, a business, or a nation prosper and long endure in peace and freedom without obedience to the Laws of God?

WE ASSUME THAT ALL LAW BEGAN WITH GOD. WITHOUT GOD, THERE IS NOTHING.

In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. These are his, the fullness thereof and all things therein. He made man in the image of God, male and female … and wrote his law upon the tablet of man’s heart. Understanding that law is the key to all human happiness.

We are here by the Grace of God, our Divine Heavenly Father. The earth is made for us, and is an hospitable abode. The sun bathes the world daily with enough energy to produce billions of tons of food. The wind and the rain water the earth, and plants feed upon the elements. All other creatures feed on the plants and upon other creatures that live. Man alone has dominion, under God, over the whole planet and all things thereon. This is our heritage from God: we have a place to live where there is enough for all and more to share.

We owe our lives and strength to God. His laws are our laws. If we obtain any blessing, it comes to us by our obedience to the laws of God upon which that blessing is predicated. God’s Kingdom is the realm of law. There is no place where there is no law. From the heart of the smallest microbe to the outer periphery of the largest nebulae, the laws of God are in full control. Any failure to recognize this truth will be merely temporary. All will learn it sooner or later.

The laws of conduct that govern man’s relationship to man are just as binding as are any of the laws of the physical universe. The law of gravity is inflexible. Everyone knows he should accept the dictum, “Thou shalt not fall freely through space more than a few feet.” The laws governing interpersonal relationships are just as fixed and final. The law that says, “Thou shalt not covet,” is unalterable. The penalty for disobedience of these rules is fixed. Punishment for infraction is by Eternal Justice. We can disobey but we can never break the laws of God. We can only break ourselves on them by our disobedience. We must live within the Law of God.

The unalterable and unalienable rights of man rest upon the code of God’s eternal laws. The very essence and purpose of those rights is man’s personal agency. His freedom to choose among alternatives is the gift of God. It is the central characteristic of man’s divinity. Jesus Christ inspired his prophets to say, “Ye are Gods; even the sons of God.” Earth life is but a proving ground; a test of our metal and talents. It is an opportunity and a method of separating the fit from the unfit; a schooling place from which the superior matriculate to the upper echelons with Elohim. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the doorway; the path to ultimate joy in eternity.

GOD’S WAY VS: SATANIC IDEOLOGY

Good and evil, freedom and slavery are always in opposition to each other. The two articles following present in apposition some positive and negative aspects of liberty. Principles that are fundamental to liberty are offered in the first column and the second column refers to destructive thought patterns and conduct that enslave individuals and nations.

THE LAWS OF GOD AND THE CONSTITUTION

The Laws of God are set forth clearly in the Holy Scriptures. No one who successfully completed the third grade needs to be ignorant of them.

“Thou shalt have no other Gods before me,” said the LORD God to Moses on Mount Sinai. Long before that, the foundation of our American Constitution was being lad by God through prophets more ancient that Moses.

Abraham found favor with the LORD because he kept “The laws, statutes and judgments of God.”

“In the beginning God (Elohim) created the heaven and the earth.” (Gen. 1:1) “so (also) he created man (after God’s likeness) in his own image, in the image of God created he him, male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and said…be fruitful and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it; and have dominion…over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.” (Gen. 1:1,27,28)

From such activities of both God and of the first man, you have the beginning of law on earth.

If God is a creator and man is in God’s own image and likeness, then man, being a son of God, is also a creator. If God has power within himself to initiate and cause action, then it follows that man, God’s son, also has power within himself to initiate action. Man is a creator.

OWNERSHIP

God owns his creation. “The earth is mine,” said the LORD God in the holy scriptures.

Ownership is a basic law of God and of man.

God gave to Adam the right of ownership for the period of his mortal life when He said, “I have given you dominion over the earth and all things thereon”…Thus man may own property.

There are four methods, and only four, provided in the Laws of God by which a person may acquire ownership, or “title,” to things. These are good and therefore moral and lawful for man.

The first method of acquiring ownership is by gift. God, himself demonstrated and established this method when he gave to Adam. We acquire ownership of, or the right to control, things that are given to us. Gift in all of its forms gives us a right to title. Title is public recognition of our personal right to control the things that we own.

Discovery is the second method of getting ownership. You may claim for your own and retain final control over anything that you find that is not owned by another.

Trade is the third method of acquiring ownership. You trade your labor, not your time. You trade money or barter goods. Ownership changes hands and title passes in the process of trade.

Creation is the fourth method of getting ownership. We own things we create or produce, but only an equity in what we help others to create. Our creative labor invested in the process of production is the source of our ownership of our share of the created product. A day-laborer may trade his equity in the final product produced or service rendered by a group, for money or other wages. We are by the law of God entitled to the products of our own labor. The Prophet Moses said it this way: “Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn.” Paul sad, “The laborer is worthy of his hire.”

PLUNDER IS EVIL

“Thou shalt not steal..nor covet anything that is thy neighbor’s,” said The LORD God in The Ten Commandments to all ages of the world.

The basic evil that outlaws plunder in all its forms is force. Force violates the law of the free market or the principle of common consent.

I have no right to plunder. Nor may I send my agent to take plunder for me. Nor may I send my agent, the tax collector, to rob other people for the benefit of the “needy.” I must resist plundering or accepting plunder.

Plundering by force is outlawed by The Laws of God. There is no way to change plunder into anything but evil gain.

The notion of bureaucratic government robbers that it is virtuous to steal through law for the benefit of others is outlawed by the Laws of God and by The Constitution.

GOD’S LAW OF LIBERTY

God gave to man his own agency. Man is free. He cannot lose, give away, nor surrender his inner and unalienable right of self-direction. You can put a man in prison, but you cannot take away his agency, or right to act for himself. He is still his own man. You might cut off his tongue but you cannot take away his right to speak freely. His rights are within him naturally and his agency cannot be cancelled. It is a gift to him from God.

Man is a “power-house.” He generates energy within himself. He eats food, drinks water and inhales oxygen. These are natural nutrients. They contain power and energy. By chemical processes man converts these nutrients and extracts human power. From them he develops muscular strength and generates electrical energy. His thoughts, directed by his mind, are accompanied by a flow of electronic nerve energy through his brain cells.

Man’s brain is the most wonderful computer in the world. It operates from electrons produced internally from food, air, water and spiritual power. Its actions are controlled by the mind of man and the pure intelligence of God. Thus, man’s spirit being free, having its own agency, thinks freely as it will.

Man’s agency allows him to choose. There are limits set for him beyond which he cannot go and still be free. A person is free to jump off tall building but when he has made his decision and put it into effect, he must take the consequences. He is free to jump or not to jump. But once he starts to fall, he cannot stop falling by simply choosing not to fall. He cannot escape responsibility for what happens to him or others due to his actions.

Free agency and personal responsibility are tied together inextricably by the laws of God. Freedom to succeed means freedom to fail also. Freedom with responsibility is God’s way of life.

There are two minds that are external to or outside of man that work constantly to influence him. These are God and Satan. God constrains himself to the use of the power of love and persuasion. Our Heavenly Father, and his Son, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost will force no man to heaven. They will lead, persuade, and direct a right, but they force the human mine. God has made us free indeed.

Freedom consists of being able to make choices between alternatives on the basis of individual desire without external coercion.

It is a wise and merciful God who allows man to have his own agency. This means that God allows Satan to tempt and deceive. Without evil before us continually, we would not be free. If there were no evil in the world to tempt and persuade man, we would not be free; we would have no power of choice. Without alternatives, agency would be destroyed and we would be enslaved in the world without liberty.

There is no possibility of man being saved from the powers of evil unless he learns by his own experience to distinguish the difference between good and evil. Only then can he choose wisely and grow.

Obedience to God’s eternal law is the only way of salvation and growth for man. Such obedience alone empowers us to inherit the free gifts of The Lord Jesus Christ to which we are all natural heirs. It is obedience that opens the door to Christ.

As citizens of The United States of America, we have a very simple choice to make:

We can accept responsibility for our own sins; for all aspects of our conduct and look to God for leadership in government affairs, or we can fall into Satan’s trap and enslave ourselves by our dependence upon the rule of force in government.

It is long since past time for good men to come to the aid of their country. The time of decision is now.

SATAN WORKS BY DECEPTION AND FORCE

Strange as it may seem, many intelligent and loyal Americans find it difficult to accept the truth even when it is right before their eyes. Perhaps they are blinded either by incorrect teachings or by their emotions. This shows up immediately when we examine the serious problems of morality vs amorality.

Normally people don’t think much about amorality. We think often about morality vs immorality as “good” or “evil”. But if this is all we do, if we don’t go beyond cliché thinking, we miss a vital point; we stumble into Satan’s deceptive pit.

The word, amoral, is designed to be used in situations where morality is not an issue; where there is no question of “good” or “evil”

An amoral person often ignores morality. To him, it is neither good nor evil to steal, lie, or commit adultery. He relies on “the art of the possible.” He ignores criminality in himself, and pays no attention to anything but his own profit and convenience.

But even with a clear understanding of the words, moral, immoral, and amoral, we still find it difficult to understand the problems of our time if we stop here. We need additional depth.

Perhaps we can take a forward step to clarify our thinking if we take “poet’s license” and create a new word, a-moral, or a-morality; at least an additional meaning.

Let’s think of an a-moral person as one who is worse than immoral. His morality is backwards. He calls good, evil and evil, good. Such a person is not just amoral, without morality. He lives in a conceptual world that is up-side down and backwards. He is without the kind of conscience that controls a moral, or even and immoral, person. He loves the evil that moral people hate. He loves the fruits of conspiracy that moves in stealth and secrecy. There is no evil that he will not do to get power and gain. To him, there is no such thing as what normal people call evil. To him murder is good if it offers him chance for plunder. He loves to rule by force because he is Satan’s disciple.

THE “GREAT CONSPIRACY”

It is said by many qualified students that there exists an international and continuing world-wide, generation to generation “conspiracy.” This notion is repugnant to normal, healthy, sane people. The amoral pay no attention to the claim but to an a-moral child of Satan, the concept of getting gain and power by deceit, plunder and conspiracy is a most desirable and “intelligent” goal.

A-moral people do exist. Look around you!

Only a fool refuses to believe that there are criminals in every group. Everyone knows that there are petty thieves, burglars, and crooked politicians. But even though we try to protect ourselves by putting locks on everything we own, we still find it hard to believe that there are conspirators in high places that are plotting against us.

Why do so many find this hard to believe? Is it because it staggers our imagination to grasp the concept that there really are dangerous criminals, a-moral people, in high places who think of themselves as good and wonderful people?

The Bible says (Revelations 12:7-9) “There was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, and prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: He was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.” Thus came evil into the world.

THE GREAT AND ABOMINABLE CHURCH OF THE DEVIL

When Cain slew his brother Abel, he found himself in a trap set by Satan. Cain had failed to obey God’s laws. He ignored cause and effect. He coveted honors he had not earned. He failed to examine his conduct and to repent of his mistakes. He came to the point where he no longer liked his self-image and he built up bad feeling over his brother’s acceptance by THE LORD. Jealousy turned loose resentment and negative emotions flooded his mind. Disobedience opened the door to his heart and Satan entered his life.

It was by conspiracy that Satan induced Cain to try to get gain by the rule of force. Thus was laid in earth the foundation, or the beginning of “The Great and Abominable Church of The Devil”. It is referred to in Revelations, Chapter 17, verse 5, as “Babylon, The Great; The Whore of all the earth.”

William Guy Car, in his book, PAWNS IN THE GAME, page 162, after a decade of study of The Great Conspiracy,” writes,

“Considering these facts, (set forth in his book) I became convinced that the top conspirators did not belong to any one nation; they were “agents of Satan,” doing his will, and serving his purpose here on earth. The one and only purpose of the Devil is to win the souls of men away from Almighty God. The men who plot and plan wars and revolutions have done a great deal to bring about a godless world. This reasoning enabled me to understand the evil genius of these men. They could not move nearer to their totalitarian-materialistic goal without fomenting wars and revolutions. They must of necessity destroy the civilization founded in accordance with the Divine Plan of Creation before they could impose their evil totalitarian ideology upon the peoples of the world.”

Satan makes himself appear constantly as an “angel of light.” He will tell a thousand truths in order to slip in one dastardly lie. Of all the lies ever told, none is so black as a half-truth told with intent to deceive. Some of these half-truths are made to appear as the most wonderful things imaginable.

“Free,” compulsory “public” education for all children is typical example. It sounds so good but it is a half-truth. Education is not free. Someone must pay for it. It is a dastardly lie to teach children that education is “free” to the student, or to anyone.

It would certainly not be true to allege that everyone is “public education” is working for the devil. The vast majority of effort that goes into teaching children in public school is good. Noble and well-meaning people devote their whole lives to being helpful and much good comes from their efforts. They are to be commended for their devotion even while being warned of the dangers of deception. It is into just such areas of dedicated service that Satan worms his way and does his damage with his dastardly half-truths.

The use of the force of law, with its threat of fine or imprisonment to force children into the so-called “free” public or government education is an example. The child is taken by force, or the threat of force, and compelled to attend schools selected for him by government agents. He is told when to come, where to go where to sit, what he must learn. Often, in many so-called “modern” schools, if the child objects or “squirms in his seat” he will be fed by force or stealth mind-changing drugs to subdue and control his inner urges and feelings.

In many ways in many schools it is made to appear illegal to teach of God or of God’s laws and principles of life. Children are taught, more or less, that there is no God; that man is only “humanistic.” This is done so as to suggest that the child must rely only on his own mind, or the mind of his teacher, or the State. Every public school curriculum, almost without exception is structured so that a child is helped to assume that man is only a materialistic “happening;” that he had no origin prior to birth; and has no hope of existence after death.

The natural and inevitable result of this conduct and doctrine in “public education” is that man’s notion of right and law is substituted for God’s eternal principles of truth. This leads the student into Satan’s trap of amorality, or no morality, and opens the door for him to fall into a-morality, or the reverse of morality.

It is by such deception that vast hordes of children have been trapped in our time. It is all very clever and deceptive. It is done by indoctrination with half-truths – very slyly done.

First, the student is indoctrinated by the notion of “Majority rule in a democracy.” It sounds so good– majority rule. Next the child is persuaded that he is the author of his own ethics; that there are no fixed and eternal rules of morality or law set by God. Finally, sans conscience lost through mis-training and bad education, children are allowed, or taught, to assume that it is virtuous (a-moral) to take by vote through government power whatever they may want without regard to the unalienable right of natural owners. The student is left to assume, or is actually taught, that it is moral and right to take anything that they may “need” so long as he uses “majority rule” by vote or “democracy” to get it.
