Some years ago I ran upon a maxim that is applicable to our Federal Government of Corruption:

Right is RIGHT even if NOBODY is doing it.

Wrong is WRONG even if EVERYONE is doing it.

There is a concerted effort on the part of the Corrupter in Chief, Barack Obama; the Speaker of Corruption, Nancy Pelosi; and the Senate Majority Leader of Corruption, Harry Reid to ignore their oaths of office and destroy our Constitutional Republic. These – our elected officials – primary job today, ahead of Healthcare, Cap and Trade, Card Check or anything else, is to clean out the corruption that has overtaken the Federal Government and threatens the destruction of our Constitutional Republic.

The Congress needs to be placed in Quarantine so that they do not infect our Republic with anymore vile unconstitutional laws designed to destroy the Constitution they are sworn to defend “against ALL enemies foreign and domestic.” Today the largest threat to our Constitutional Republic is not an external enemy but the 535 men and women elected by We the People  to represent us. Why? Because they choose NOT to represent the will of We the People  but their own program to change our Constitutional Republic to a Welfare Socialist State. These Progressives, of both parties, choose instead to enact unconstitutional laws that they know are in violation to their oath of office. As this writer has stated many times, “I do not believe that there is within the 535 members of congress 56 members who would be willing to pledge ‘their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor’ to the preservation of our Constitutional Republic.” Or, as Glen Beck asked, “Does Sacred Honor even exist in Washington anymore?”

There are, in the Halls of Congress, corrupt self-serving progressive and liberal politicians whose only desire is to stay in power and change our nation into a tyrannical Welfare Socialist State. Their only purpose is to destroy the inalienable rights of We the People to life, liberty and property. The Constitution does NOT grant them the right to plunder our property and “redistribute wealth.” It only grants them power to protect us, We the People, in our right to life, liberty and property. Truly it was well said, “Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely!”

Is it any wonder that 70% of their employers, We the People, have NO faith in their ability or desire to do what is right for our Constitutional Republic and We the People ? Until they, the Congress, clean their inner vessel, “The Congress of Corruption” is NOT fit to represent We the People on Wall Street or Main Street. If they fail in this responsibility, then We the People must remove them from office and elect those who will uphold their oath of office.

Our Constitutional Republic is in real danger. The Constitution which established our Republic is a fragile document that must be protected 24 hours a day – 7 days a week – 365 days a year. Today, however, our Constitution is being undermined by the pursuit of power of those sworn to protect it. Sacred Honor and Statesmanship appear to be dead within the halls of Congress. We the People’s Freedoms are being sacrificed on the altar of the Welfare Socialist State. But there are those who oppose these powerful forces who have dedicated and who are continuing to dedicate their lives to truth, honor and freedom. These men and women were and are known as PATRIOTS and they have, once again, been awakened! Truly, “The price of Freedom is eternal vigilance.”

 We the People have to look to our past and get back to the basic Constitutional principles granted to us by our Founding Fathers if our Constitutional Republic is going to survive. We the People must not flag in our resolve to pass the Ideal of America on to our children and grandchildren. To do so is to break faith with our ancestors who gave that Ideal to us as they received it from God. May God continue to bless the United States of America and may He heal our land.
