It is the year of our Lord Two Thousand Ten and of the Independence of the United States of America the two hundred thirty-fourth. Today there are many within our nation who fear that our Constitutional Republic established by God through our Founding Fathers is being destroyed by the very people sworn to protect it. Perhaps We the People need to be reminded of two adages with regards to our struggle to preserve our Constitutional Republic: “Let us work as if everything depends on us, and pray as if everything depends on God,” and “Let us have faith that right makes might, and in that faith, let us, to the end, dare to do our duty as we understand it.” – Abraham Lincoln

Beginning in the early twentieth century, there emerged a new body politic that adopted progressive ideals which are not in keeping with the constitutional principles that made our country great and the beacon of hope in a world of darkness. It is a body politic that refuses to honor their sworn duty to protect and defend our Divinely inspired Constitution from all enemies foreign and domestic. In fact, this body politic has become our Constitution’s most aggressive and deadly domestic enemy as they strive to change our Constitutional Republic into a Welfare Socialist State.

You may ask, “Who are these politicians?” My answer to you is that they are the members of both the Democratic and Republican parties who are part of the Progressive movement. These Progressives along with Socialist-DINO’s [Democrats In Name Only] have for the past one hundred years eked away at our inalienable rights from God to Life, Liberty and Property which they, as our elected representatives, were and are sworn to protect.

Their Progressive [Socialist] ideology is false because it destroys initiative. It bends equal-justice, or opportunity, into social-justice engendering an attitude of divisive entitlement within the citizenry. This entitlement is then used to destroy liberty and makes free citizens, We the People, slaves of a tyrannical government. Already more than 40% of our citizens are so enslaved. It bends private ownership, Christian charity and brotherly love into the compulsion of state redistribution. This eventually engenders in the self-reliant individual an attitude of why should I work to improve my condition, the government is just going to steal the fruits of my labor for someone else anyway.

You may ask, “How have they done this?” They have done this through a systematic usurpation of power reserved to We the People and the several States. They have done this through refusal to exercise the very checks and balances granted by the Constitution to keep the horizontal balance of power between the three branches of the federal government – Legislative, Executive and Judicial. They have done this by passing the 17th Amendment allowing for popular election of Senators thus denying the several States their representation at the federal level and removing the vertical separation of power between the Federal and State governments. They have done this by allowing judicial activists to legislate rather than enforce the written law. They have done this by allowing the President to use “Executive Orders” in place of the legislative process. They have done this by allowing the President to TRIPLE the size of his Cabinet usurping power in areas reserved to the several States and We the People.

They have done this through unwise and unsound fiscal policies and laws which deny the entrepreneurs and risk takers of the just reward of their labors. They have done this through entitlement programs which have created excessive and unsustainable debt. They have done this by ignoring the Tenth Amendment and growing the Federal Government well beyond the limits of our Constitution. Then to pay for their usurpation they have created an unfair and unyielding system of taxation. They have done this by enacting voluminous bills into law, which have been brokered in secret, that they have not even read, and which they themselves do not comprehend or understand.

You may ask, “But what can I do about it? In less than three months time, November 2, there will be an election of every member of the House of Representatives and one-third of the Senators. As an employer of these members of Congress, you must become aware of whom you are going to hire to defend our Constitutional Republic. You must NOT vote for anyone who espouses progressive ideals. Those of the Progressive movement of the Congress must be fired if we are to save the Constitutional Republic and pass the American Ideal on to our posterity.

You also must come to know, yes know deep in your heart, that our Declaration of Independence and Constitution were and are Divinely Inspired. That the blessings of Liberty come NOT from our government but from God, our Creator. You must have faith and believe in the promise of our Creator that:

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. [2 Chronicles 7:14, emphasis added]

We the People, as individuals, families and a nation must return to:

1. Reading the Scriptures.
2. Praying for our Land established by God.
3. Praying for ALL those who protect our Constitutional Republic.
4. Voting in November to ensure that ONLY Statesmen, who will listen to We the People, are sent to represent us in the halls of Congress. Statesmen whose ONLY interest is the preservation of our Constitutional Republic and its founding documents. We the People must fire ANY Politician whose ONLY interest is in their own re-election, the retention of power to themselves, and the changing of our Constitutional Republic into a Welfare Socialist State after a failed European model.

If we do these things, we shall then be as Elisha, in Dothan, when encompassed by a great host [2 Kings 6:13 - 18] and We the People shall have no need to fear because “they that be with us [We the People] are more than they that be with them [the Progressives]. We the People shall then know that if we but serve the God of the Land, which is Jesus Christ, that the battle for the preservation of our Constitutional Republic is NOT ours alone, but that the battle ALSO belongs to the Lord.
