National Day of Prayer

Amore Dei, Familiae, Patriae ducit !

Annually since 1952 this nation has observed the National Day of Prayer. This year’s observance will be tomorrow, 5 May. The theme for this year is “A Mighty Fortress is Our God.”

Followers of this Blog are well aware of the three passions of my life – God, Family, Country. Our nation is suffering from its neglect of spiritual things and thinking. We, as a nation, truly have forgotten the Divine Providence that caused this nation to rise. In fact, many even deny the existence of God and believe that we have done all these things of ourselves.

As you observe our National Day of Prayer in your home, your places of worship and the public forum please remember to pray for our nation, our service men and women, and all those who stand for the Judeo-Christian principles that made us the greatest nation on earth. We, as a nation, need constitutional restoration if our Constitutional Republic is to survive. We, as a nation, need constitutional restoration if we are to “secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity.” We, as a nation, need to return to the God who caused our Constitutional Republic to rise through the efforts of our Founding Fathers.

The threats that face our nation are great. There are enemies within and without who would change our Constitutional Republic:

1. Those who want a Welfare Socialist State making government the ruler rather than the servant of We the People.

2. Those who want “one world government” like George Soros and his ilk, with their oligarchy as the ruler rather than We the People.

3. Those who want a worldwide Theocracy of Islam under Sharia Law with a Caliph as ruler rather than We the People.

The greatest threat to our Constitutional Republic however is the APATHY of We the People, we who go through our day to day life neglecting the responsibilities of citizenship as a free people. Citizens who what a government of We the People but who choose not to be involved, who choose not to vote, and who choose not to take a stand in defense of their Rights as they bury their heads in the sand and refuse to acknowledge the threats that confront us as a nation.

It is past time for us as a nation to remember the Biblical injunction “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” [1 Chronicles 7:4] This is a call for prayer!

May God Bless and Save the United States of America –
Our Constitutional Republic !
