No Person Except a Natural Born Citizen . . .
By William J. Dell – 22 December 2011
Amore Dei, Familiae, Patriae Ducit !
It is my personal belief that the majority of rank and file Americans, regardless of political persuasions, still believe in the Constitution of the United States and the Constitutional Liberties bequeathed to us by our Founding Fathers. It is my belief that We the People still hold that we are the “Rulers” and that our elected representatives, the “Political Elite,” are our “Servants.” I believe this because in 1787 between 14 May and 17 September, our Founding Fathers, of all political persuasions, came together and gave us our Constitutional Republic. Our Founding Fathers may have differed on their political views, as we do today, but they agreed on the Preamble and the seven Articles of our Constitution. And so it remains today, We the People may differ on our political views, but the majority of rank and file Americans still agree on the Preamble and the seven Articles of our Constitution, our Bill of Rights and the remaining Amendments.
On 3 January 2012 at the Iowa Caucuses, We the People will once again begin the process of electing the next President of the United States. A man, or woman, who before entering into the office must swear or affirm, “that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.” [Emphasis added.] Our Founding Fathers wanted to ensure that our President had no divided loyalties and therefore provided that “No Person except a natural born Citizen, … shall be eligible to the Office of President.”[Article II. Section 1. Clause 5.] It is clear from reading our Constitution that our Founding Fathers only wanted a “true” American to be our President and at the helm of our Constitutional Republic.
This is probably the most critical election of our 235 year history. It is a time when We the People, individually and as a nation, must decide if we are to remain the “Rulers” in our Constitutional Republic or if we will become the “servants” of the “Political Elite.” The latest polls suggest that We the People are very unhappy with our “Political Elite,” of both parties, with approval of the Congress at an all time low of fourteen percent. The two major parties, Republican and Democrat, have for some time been running rough shod over We the People. Can anyone dispute that the pleas of We the People have been falling on the deaf ears of our “Political Elite” of both major parties? Can any true American dispute that our “Political Elite” are more interested in party and personal power than in what is good for our Constitutional Republic?
We the People only need to consider the actions of our “Political Elite” during our last Presidential Election to know the foregoing is true. A time when the “Political Elite,” of both major parties, allowed an unconstitutionally qualified candidate to run for the Office of President. A man who freely admits that his father is NOT and never was a citizen of the United States. An admission which clearly eliminates himself as a viable Constitutionally qualified candidate because of the requirement that “No Person except a natural born Citizen, … shall be eligible to the Office of President.” And yet our “Political Elite,” of both parties, intend on allowing this same man, Barak Obama, to run for a second term.
We the People, if we would remain Rulers in our Constitutional Republic, must begin now to pressure the “Political Elite,” of both parties, in the House of Representatives to send to the Senate Articles of Impeachment against this usurper and prevent his running for a second term. We the People must tell our elected Representatives, our “Political Elite,” that failure to do so makes them unfit to continue to hold their office and ALL of them must stand for re-election in November 2012 also.
We the People, if we would remain Rulers in our Constitutional Republic, must begin now to pressure the “Political Elite,” of both parties, in the Senate to impeach this usurper and prevent his running for a second term. We the People must tell our elected Senators, our “Political Elite,” that failure to do so makes them unfit to continue to hold their office and one-third of them must stand for re-election in November 2012 also.
If our “Political Elite,” of both parties, fail in their Constitutional responsibility, We the People, if we would remain “Rulers” in our Constitutional Republic, must use the ballot box and the power of the vote to remove our “Political Elite” from office. We the People should also send a very strong message to our “Political Elite” that we will NOT vote for any unconstitutionally qualified candidate for the Office of President of the United States.
There will in all probability be five candidates for the Office of President on this next November’s ballot – Democrat, Republican, Constitution, Libertarian and Green Parties. We should be able to find a Constitutionally qualified candidate for President among the remaining four non Democratic candidates on the ballot who is to our liking and who we can support. I suggest however that We the People, as Americans, cast NO vote for any candidate for the Office of President who does NOT meet the “natural born” requirement for the office.
The salvation of our Constitutional Republic and our ability to “secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity” hangs in the balance and in the hands of We the People. If We the People fail in our responsibility in the upcoming November 2012 election, if we vote Party rather than American, the remainder of We the People will over the next four years most assuredly become the “servants” of the “Political Elite” like 47% of our citizens already are.
Let this Presidential Election’s battle cry be:
VOTE AMERICAN NOT PARTY!
May God Bless and Save the United States of America
Our Constitutional Republic !
