Amore Dei, Familiae, Patriae Ducit !

Each of us, as individuals and as a nation, from time to time find ourselves at a crossroad or “The Forks in the Road.” Clara Keniston, in her poem by that title, has left us some wisdom concerning this time in our lives or the life of our Constitutional Republic.

Oh, could I go back to the forks of the road -
Back over the long miles I have carried the load;
Back to the place where I had to decide,
By this sign or that my footsteps to guide.

Back to the sorrow, back to the care,
Back to the place where the future was fair.
Oh, were I there now, decision to make,
My Father in Heaven, which road would I take?

We the People, individually and as a nation, are at such a junction in our history. We are eleven months away from the most important election this nation has ever seen. An election that will determine if we will continue to “secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity” or we will acquiesce and allow “government of the people, by the people, for the people” to perish from the earth.

On Sunday, 18 December 2011, President Barak Obama appeared on 60 Minutes. During the interview he made the following statement, “And the contrast in visions between where I want to take the country and where they [GOP Conservatives] say they want to take the country is gonna be stark.” For once, Barak Obama, spoke the truth. The decision before We the People is stark and clear.

The president’s vision for our nation is that of the “Left” fork of the Socialists, Democrats, Progressives and One Worlders who want to take us down a path which returns us to the tyranny that drove our Founding Fathers to write our Declaration of Independence. The “Left” fork of Socialism that has failed in every nation where it has been tried throughout the world’s history. The “Left” fork of an oligarchy where the “Political Elite,” our elected representatives, want to be the “Rulers” and make We the People their “Servants.” The “Left” fork which leads to the destruction of our unalienable rights from God to Life, Liberty and Property.

This vision is contrasted with the “Right” fork of the true lovers of Liberty in this nation who want to take us down the path to “Constitutional Restoration” that will  “secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity.” The “Right” fork of our Founding Fathers who over a period of thirteen years, from 1776 to 1789, gave us our Constitutional Republic with its Bill of Rights. A Constitutional Republic which has served We the People well throughout our history and which has been a beacon of hope in a world of darkness, tyranny and oppression. The “Right” fork of a Constitutional Republic where We the People are the “Rulers” and our “Political Elite,” our elected Representatives, are to be our “Servants.” The “Right” fork which leads to the preservation of our unalienable right from God to Life, Liberty and Property.

During the past 100 years plus the proponents of the Obama Vision, in both parties, have truly been ‘wolves in sheep’s clothing’ as they have enacted legislation designed to destroy equal-justice in the name of social-justice, destroy liberty through entitlement, and destroy ownership through redistribution. It is the proponents of the Obama Vision who have systematically enacted legislation supporting the fundamental foundation blocks of Marxist Socialism. In 1848, Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels listed the steps necessary to convert a democracy into a socialist state as follows:

1.    Abolition of real estate property rights and application of all rents to public purposes.
2.    A heavy progressive or graduated income tax.
3.    Abolition to all rights of inheritance
4.    Confiscation of the property of all emigrants and rebels.
5.    Centralization of credit in the hands of the state, by means of a national bank monopoly using state capital.
6.    State control of the means of communication and transportation.
7.    State owned factories and instruments of production; and, the development of a common plan to bring into cultivation waste lands and to improve the soil generally.
8.    Equal liability of all to labor. Establishment of industrial armies, especially for agriculture.
9.    Combine agriculture with manufacturing industries. Redistribute the population more equally across the country blurring the distinction between town and country.
10.    Free education for all children in public schools.

They have been so successful in the implementation of their “vision” that 47% of We the People are already under their control. ‘Slaves’ dependent upon the state for their existence as they wait for their “entitlement checks” from month-to-month.

We the People must remember that eventually the government will run out of other people’s money. [In fact, they already have!] We the People need to understand that the “Right” vision is the only salvation for our Constitutional Republic. We the People must return to the ‘grit,’ self-reliance and self-determination of out pioneer ancestors if we are to survive as a nation and pass the ‘American Dream’ on to our Posterity and succeeding generations.

We the People, individually and as a nation, are at a junction in our history where in eleven months time we must vote in the most important election this nation has ever held. An election that will determine if we will continue to “secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity” or we will acquiesce and allow “government of the people, by the people, for the people” to perish from the earth.
