07. Teaching Our Posterity and Others

By William J. Dell – 17 September 2011
Amore Dei, Familiae, Patriae ducit !

Let each of us talk to our children and grandchildren about our heritage. They surely are not receiving a true picture of our Founding Fathers and the principles of our founding documents from liberal academia which is bound by “political correctness.” Political correctness has no room for, nor does it allow for, principle. The Judeo-Christian principles upon which this nation were founded and our true heritage will only be taught if each of us does the teaching within our own homes and families.

Education of our children has always been the purview of We the People under the Tenth Amendment of our Bill of Rights. The federal government’s unconstitutional Department of Education should be abolished immediately. It might interest the reader to know that in 1848 it was Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels who first advocated a “Free education for all children in public schools” as a means of converting a democracy into a socialist state. After all if you can control the thinking of the rising generation, you can control the destiny of a nation.

When God listed the “Mighty Men of Valor” of Israel, He added a significant observation about the men of Issachar. “And of the children of Issachar, which were men that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel [America] ought to do . . .” So it is imperative that we are men and women of understanding of our times and to know what we, as individuals, parents and a nation, must do.

We must do all that is in our power to teach and apply God’s Holy Word in refuting any attempt to undermine the Judeo-Christian principles we know to be true concerning our God, our Family, and our Country. We must as Paul said to the Ephesians, “put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places” who would destroy the freedom of man. Most importantly, we must do all that is in our power to build a foundation of freedom and liberty in the hearts and minds of our posterity which is unshakable.

This is a Patriot’s Responsibility!
